If you look at other photos it looks exactly the same.
That photo has a weird angle to it. You can see the other side of the white iphone.
Someone from "a" news service is bending a no story into "A Story." ;):D

Next time, I'd suggest you check the accuracy of the "source" you are trying to use to prove your point. The F700 wasn't shown in it was announced just after the iPhone and wasn't available until later in 2007...
Quite right, though I doubt 'rolfbert' WILL check his sources next time. Some people never learn.

It's absolutely ridiculous it has taken this long for tmobile to have the iphone in the usa.
Let's all spell it together.
EXCLUSIVITY.
AT&T had it at one time. Hence, TMobile couldn't have the iPhone, or any other carrier in the United States.
The more you know.....

Sorry... didn't mean to sound huffy.
I always wondered where "huffy" came from. :p

AAPL will recover, but perhaps not soon. The markets are in a state of confusion right now (I can imagine that this week was one roller coaster for day traders!), but Apple is a solid company with solid earnings, solid growth forecasts, and a solid roadmap for the near future.
I mean, it's not as if Apple is taking on suspect mortgages...:p

A native Mac OS X app that will run iOS apps.
Interesting possibility. It would be extremely difficult to emulate a complete iOS device (custom ASICs and all). But Apple could emulate just enough ARM instructions to emulate an app that was compiled by Xcode & LLVM (which would limit the way ARM instructions were generated), and used only legal public iOS APIs (instead of emulating hardware and all the registers), which could be translated in Cocoa APIs to display on a Mac OS X machine.

I'm fine sticking with my iphone 4 for a while longer. It is great and if they give or at least preview iOS 5.0 ill be very happy :)

The wait is killing me! I'm sitting here working on my old model trying to develop a shader heavy action game, I'll need to record footage for a trailer soon and I don't think my iMac will be able to handle it. Come on May the 3rd!
Seriously, why not an Imac with touch-screen right now? Will we need to wait for the next iMac update to see this technology implemented?
Apple is surely working on it:
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/technology/apple/7961480/Apple-files-iMac-touch-patent.html
And, besides that, OS X Lion will be 100% focused on touch technology... and were not talking about an Ipad OS...
Touchscreen computers are terrible. I used to do design work for a company that sold them. Computers in their current form do not work well as touchscreens. They even gave me a large touchscreen display as a gift... great display, terrible arm pain!
Leave touchscreens where they work - portable devices. The mouse is so much more precise, comfortable and cheaper.

Apple produces very high quality machines and that's always going to ding them (ironically) in terms of market share as people will buy new machines less often and because loads of people aren't picking up bargain Macs at Wal-Mart. I know lots of Windows users and they buy new PCs on average every two years. I buy a new Mac on average every 5 years and most Mac users I know do the same. Market share is just meaningless, even when it's positive news.
Besides, Apple deals in the kind of quality that will keep it around for many, many years, regardless of which way its market share is going and that's all that I care about.
it is still odd to me using a Mac after so many years running windows networks and running linux and BSD. i used to upgrade at least parts, and generally whole machines every 14-20 months. now i have a G3 ibook, and it is fast approaching 4 years old, and i have no plans to upgrade for at least 9 months to a year.
when you can buy the low end entry level notebook and get great performance for 3-5 years, why would you upgrade?
....thanks apple!

I actually know that many here have shared the same view as mine, that It's painfully obvious she wasn't having a seizure. Must of been a coincidence the seizure happened right at door exit then? Purposely done to avoid being taken outside, where she would of been in severe trouble.
Nice metric you have there, $some people on the internet have said it, thus it must be true.

Yep, a touch sensitive home button is the way to go. Will act as the unlock button too. It was about time we got rid of that nasty plastic which breaks very easily.
Um no, they do not break very easily. Maybe a gorilla might break it easily.

Let's see. How about putting back the option to have alarm alerts turned off if iCal is closed but still on if opened. Anyone who ever uses their laptop for presentations would be so happy to have that feature back. How about putting back the ability to click once on an item in Month view and seeing details. Seriously. Is the point to keep taking away functions and make it look super hokey?

Black-on-white crime, much more prevalent than the reverse, is one of those open secrets the media doesn't like to report on, usually since they're too busy accusing whites of racism.
The media always reports on black on white crime, so much so, that they are often accused of over-reporting and fueling white people's fear of the big bad black man!

while it would be nice to live in a world where everything Microsoft made could easily be avoided, its certainly not the best solution at all for some people and their jobs/careers/etc. If you need compatibility with Windows, then you need it to get things done. XP will be fine for the vast majority of people right now, but eventually people are going to want to upgrade to Vista for a variety of reasons, and knowing that you'll have to re-boot to run vista for the lower-level versions is an issue. Microsoft isn't the best company, but we live in a world where their products are used by so many people that it can't be avoided.
I know that I can't entirely avoid Vista, but I won't load it on my Mac. I have to use and support it at work though and as far as home use goes, it will wait until MS requires it to get security updates.
As for the previous post concerning backwards compatibility, I don't think that it's too much for Microsoft to test their browser on existing web pages that contain industry standard html, dtml, java, flash, etc. If Mozilla, Firefox, etc. launched a new version that crashed on web pages containing more than a couple jpgs and a paragraph tag, they'd be flayed and MS would be screaming the loudest.

wow, how spectacularly awful.
My phone seems to not accept calls about 5% of the time, and I'm pissed with that.
I'm waiting for the iPhone price war to reduce the price to be somewhat sensible now there's competition for it.
