Luisana Lopilato is a sexy Argentinian actress and Michael Buble’s fiancé. The Canadian crooner popped the question to his Argentinian girlfriend Lu last year. The Canadian singer met Lopilato in November 2008 at one of his concerts in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She is a 23 year-old model and a film and TV actress who stars in the Argentinian soap operas. A friend says when Michael met Lu it was love at first sight.

According to reports, Buble proposed to Luisana with a gorgeous ring, in November 2009, in front of her whole family, in Argentina. And she accepted. It was a really beautiful moment, they were ecstatic, a rep says. The singer gave her a diamond engagement ring from Vancouver jeweler Minichiello.

“They’re ecstatic. They’re adorable, in love and laugh all day long.”

It is said that after the engagement, Michael whisked his beautiful fiancé off to Hawaii, where the couple stayed in a Maui beachfront mansion. He was so happy to share the news with people on New Year’s Day at Maui’s Spago restaurant, Michael was introducing Luisana to everyone as his fiance.

“He was introducing Lu to everyone in the restaurant, proudly proclaiming, ‘We’re engaged,’” says the source. “He was so happy to show her off.

“The next day Michael was sad because he had to put Lu on a private plane to Buenos Aires — she stars in an Argentine TV soap opera and she had to be on set. The couple haven’t set a date for the wedding. However, a close friend says they are thinking about getting married sometime next year. Congratulations!
