Marina Callis

Marina is dedicated to the design and the making of jewelry with unconventional materials, especially textiles. Creating volume and structure through the exploration of texture and folding reflects a spontaneous and joyful soul; landscapes are recreated and combined with geometric and repetitive structures to make organic shapes.
The blend of these different processes generates a natural, delicate, attractive and texturized piece. One of the most important parts of Marina’s production is the color treatment of the textiles. In some cases, a vibrant mixed palette merges in harmony, while other times the different tones of a single chromatic range are explored. The result is light, colorful, fun and timeless pieces that remind us of the organic lines of nature.
