Erianto's works show a fresh artistic approach, marrying paintings created through meticulous technique of photo-realism with (the impression of) objects in the form of cardboard packages, some of them are reinforced with wooden frames. Suddenly we are faced with issues from the social realm of the Indonesian world of art, in its relation with the global art map, the international world of art, and the market for mainstream artworks. All of these issues are presented through various elements spread all across the "packages" - courier stickers, logos, symbols, warning labels, masking tapes, etc.
