I've been trying to 'catch up' with all the latest goings-on

And the fervor and fury surrounding a silly award show

has been incredibly entertaining.

Laugh out loud entertaining.

Seriously.

Why are people in such a fucking tizzy over this show?

I mean... from whatever side of the fence you are looking at it...

Why is it such a big deal?

1. If Summit does indeed have MTV in their PR pocket

(and let's face it, who doesn't Summit own? Bwahaha)

And the whole Twilight related awards

are in fact all fixed and just to sell a PR relationship...

Why is there so much damn foaming over it?

If it doesn't MEAN anything...

Why so angry?

Why so bitter?

Why so hateful?

I've read people are boycotting the show!

OH NO!

We can't watch Rob anywhere NEAR THAT GIRL!

"It's ALL rigged and fixed and doesn't mean a thing

but I'm going to vote and vote AGAINST ROB!"

Why would you bother if its fixed?

Will it really matter in the grand scheme of things?

and go up on stage and have a big ol' kiss...

But at the end of the day

Even if they don't win

(although I can't imagine who would beat them)

and even if they do some awkwardly adorable

version of an Edward/Bella kiss...

or if they make out passionately...

Do you think it will affect their relationship?

Do you think that whether they are together

is riding on them winning some silly Best Kiss award?

If they kiss on TV it makes it more real?

What is more meaningful is what happens off that stage.

And sorry to say...

We don't get to see more than a few snippets of that.

And if you think about it...

Isn't that the way it's supposed to be?

People aren't supposed to have 24/7 access into 

peoples personal lives...

No matter if they are famous or not.

Just be happy that Rob and Kristen are happy.

They are sharing their lives...

(and their puppy)

and they have been making it work for over 2 years.

And come on now...

It's not up to you or me to decide

if they are handling their relationship the right way.

What works for them

is all that matters.

3. Where is Kristen?

Where is Robert?

They have been spotted everywhere the last few days.

Oh yes...

I love how its so believable when people tweet

Rob is anywhere but with Kristen...

But as soon as people start tweeting they are 

walking their dog...

or hanging out...

Well..

THOSE tweets must be LIES!!!

And to be perfectly honest...

Not one of these 'tweeters' have a pic to prove their story.

It has been proven on more than one occasion that people

make up shit on twitter.

People have agendas.

People want attention.

People like to stir the shit.

Go figure!

4. I'm looking forward to tomorrow nights show.

I really am.

Not so much for the kiss

(Come on guys, you can DO this!)

But just to see Rob and Kristen together...

It's been a while.

I mean...

The whole handholding/kiss in the limo at the WFE premiere

was fuck awesome...

Don't get me wrong

But it would be nice to see something else... Right?

Rob and Kristen- So Close and Yet So Far

So here I am... Spending the Memorial weekend at the lake house with family.
That is pretty much what I am looking at as I write this post.
Not bad, right?

Yes... It is very lovely and woodsy and wonderful.
Yes... I'm getting a much needed break (well kinda) from
All the daily bullshit of the fandom.
Having limited ability to get online has it's pros and cons...

1. I get to actually focus more on family and especially my two incredibly
beautiful, wonderful, smart, witty perfect sons.
And oh yes... They are as close to perfection as anything on this earth.

2. Since my online access is limited... I only get snippets of the ongoing drama. That's probably a good thing, except when I get my usual all shouty, all caps emails yelling at me for something or other, I have no idea what they are shouting about. Not that they ever made much sense anyway.

3. I miss stuff like this...






And I always seem to miss this...





And where would a post be without this?

So. I've read some of my emails and texts...
And as far as I can tell... Kristen is still in London
Rob is still in Toronto...
But don't you have the feeling that Kristen will be back with Rob soon?
I do.

Random Thoughts.

1. Kristen turned up in LONDON!

I'm telling you...

When that girl shows up I smile big time.

I miss her pretty face.

Do I even want to mention all the ensuing drama?

Of course I do, silly!

Let's see.

Kristen goes to London for SWATH related work.

Not a big deal... right?

Well... it shouldn't be.

SWATH has moved up its release date

so its not a surprise that Kristen has to

do pre-production kinda things...

But of course.

Her being in London without Rob

(Nevermind that he is working in Toronto right now)

means they've broken up!

They hate each other!

So much for Kristen spending the summer with Rob!

Blah.

Blah.

Fucking Blah.

Kristen isn't over in London for long haul... yet.

She will be back with Rob in Toronto

(and in time for the MTV awards?)

before you know it.

I know you don't want to believe it...

But Rob and Kristen really are together

and really will be together in Toronto again.

Because Kristen doing work related stuff

doesn't negate where she has been the 2 weeks

leading up to this trip.

This duffel bag seemed to upset a lot of people.

how the 2 bags couldn't possibly be the same one.

I haven't written a post in 3 days.

I do have to say that I enjoy the cherry picking

There was more than a few saying Kristen and Rob were in Toronto

Saying Rob was in Toronto

Saying Kristen (and Bear) were in Toronto.

And you know what?

It turns out that ALL the tweets placing Kristen there

were lies!

(Yes, I'm being sarcastic)

Imagine that!

But somehow if there was a tweet placing Rob

somewhere on his own?

ABSOLUTE TRUTH!

Yeah, I know he was tweeted at Adeles concert.

But no pics.

Not one pic of Rob anywhere.

And of course we haven't seen Kristen since NYC

He will be in Toronto for a couple of months.

Kristen will be back in Toronto 

as soon as she can get there.

and had to leave his side to do work...

2. People keep judging Rob and Kristen's relationship

by THEIR standards of what a relationship should be.

That's not how it works.

What you perceive is NOT reality.

You look at fractions of their lives...

and you try to analyze and decipher

and criticize and attack.

It's all how you look at it I suppose...

And doing so without judgment.

Because I just see two people who want to be together

I see Rob look at Kristen like he looks at nobody else.

I see happiness... and love.
